Reader. Writer.

I am a bookseller at the famous Powell’s Books in Portland, Oregon, working in the Rose Room with all the kids books. I currently manage Newbery and Awards, Young Adult (Grant-Miller), and some awesome Picture Books (Child-Green). I have a MA in Writing and Book Publishing from Portland State University and a BA in Writing from Pacific Lutheran University.

I hang out every day with people who love books. I want to be an editor or marketer in young adult publishing, or just works at Powell’s for the rest of my life. My husband loves books as much as I do and we argue about which ones are the best.
